There was no public comment.

Secretary/Treasurer Alphonso Taylor called the meeting to order.

Motion:  To approve the September 2009 meeting minutes. Hall-Kelly (5-0)

Alphonso Taylor reported that the balance in the checking account is $11,699, and the LGIF account balance is $8727. The cd balance is $100,000 and matures in January 2010. He will meet with the County Finance Department staff and report further at the next meeting.

EDA members are encouraged to think about projects and plans for the 2010 year.

The group discussed ways to enhance the marketing of the Lovingston Farm Market. On October 7, Veritas Winery and Devils Backbone Brewing Company will our tastings. Byron Masseie will perform and Colleen Deli will have food for sale. Similar plans for the October 21 market are set.
