The chosen winners must be available to read their Haiku’s on Sunday during the event. Haikus must be turned into the Discovery Ridge Adventure Center by 4 pm on Saturday, April 7 to be considered.

9 am Sunday Easter Worship Service (Ballroom) Robert Mansfield will lead worship Easter Bonnet Parade Immediately following the worship service (about 9:50 am) Come wear your newly made bonnet or top hat and join in our parade. Show off your bonnet or top hat and be judged on the finished product. The parade route will be around the Blue Ridge Terrace and through the Mountain Inn. Prizes to be awarded for Most Creative and Most Unusual Easter Bonnet or Top Hat. Egg Hunt (Blue Ridge Terrace) Following the fun-filled Easter Bonnet and Top Hat Parade will be the Easter Egg Hunt! Your quest is to search for egg full of fun! Prizes for golden eggs, the Guess the Jelly Bean Count and Haiku contest will be awarded on the BRT immediately following the conclusion of the Egg Hunt. Start times for the Easter Egg Hunt: Children 5 and Under 10:15 am Inside the Mountain Inn.Children Ages 6 -8 10:15 am on the Blue Ridge Terrace.
