Wintergreen Performing Arts‘ Summer Music Festival at the Evans Center at Wintergreen Resort. The theme for 2009 is “Appalachian Roots” – a journey up the Appalachian Trail featuring music of composers with roots in areas along the Trail as well as music reflecting the European roots of settlers in Appalachia. Come to the crest of the Blue Ridge Mountains and spend a day, a week or the whole month sampling the Festival’s 100+ events.
