Nelson Downriver Canoe & Kayak Race is suitable for experienced paddlers. Our goal is to promote recreation, conservation and sportsmanship through paddling rivers and lakes in and around Nelson County. The race is 8 miles of class I ñ II+ whitewater and typically takes from 80 to 100 minutes to complete. The race is followed by a social/picnic/awards ceremony. 434-277-8023
