Part-time Public Safety Dispatcher

Hourly Rate:  $11.94 – $13.51

Closing Date:  Until filled

Start Date:  As soon as possible

Responsibilities include answering and documenting all calls into the Emergency Operations Center including dispatching appropriate emergency personnel.  Must have the ability to communicate orally, effectively handle emergency situations, and work well with the public.  Education equivalent to high school graduation and knowledge of communication systems and equipment is required.  Candidates are required to undergo a background check.  Position includes nights/weekend shifts.  Interested persons may apply at the Department of Human Resources, P.O.
