You will increase cardio, strength, & flexibility and reduce stress.

Not too sure about dance lessons?  This is the month to start.  Foxtrot is a smooth dance that glides around the dance floor.  Great for beginners.

March - WEST COAST SWING
Lessons:  Monday, March 8, 15, 22  TIME: 7:15 – 8:00 pm (No lesson March 1)
Practice Dance: Monday, March 29 TIME: 7:30 – 9:00 pm
West Coast Swing is one of the most popular dances in this area.  You can dance it to a wide variety of music.  A great dance to really strut your stuff!

April – WALTZ
Lessons:  Monday, April 5, 12, 19  TIME:  7:15 – 8:00 pm
Practice Dance: Monday, April 26  TIME:  7:30 – 9:00 pm
Waltz is a beautiful smooth dance that lends itself to romance.
Imagine dancing this spring in the cool of the evening to waltz music!

May - EAST COAST SWING
Lessons:  Monday, May 3, 10, 17  TIME  7:15 - 8:00 pm
Practice Dance:  Monday, May 24  TIME:  7:30 – 9:00
East Coast Swing is the sister dance of the Jitterbug.  Lots of fun, lively music helps keep this dance alive and kickin’!

PRACTICE DANCES

Nelson County now has a great place to practice dancing.  If you already know how to dance and just want a chance to enjoy a night out, our practice dances may be just what you’re looking for!  Each month will highlight the “dance of the month” but we will play a variety of music
so you can practice all your moves.     No partner required.

MUSIC 101    It’s Never Too Late
Unravel the Mystery of Reading Music and Understanding Basic Music Theory
Do you play an instrument by ear but wish you could also read music?
Have you always wanted to learn how to read music and learn to play an instrument, Did you quit taking those forced music lessons when you were a kid and now you realize that it is something you would like to return to – by choice?
Then this is the class for you!
This class is designed for the adult learner, who wants to unravel the mystery of reading music and  begin to understand the “language of music.” You  will complete this class with a general understanding of basic music theory along with many resources to continue to improve on your skills.  All adults are welcome! You need not play an instrument and NO previous music experience is necessary.
