NELSON DOWNRIVER RACE (Lower Tye River)
DATE: Saturday, May 5, 2012 TIME: Check in 9:30-11 Race Start: 11:00 Awards & Picnic: Approximately 1:30 pm
This 7 mile race is suitable for experienced canoe and kayak paddlers (up to Class II/III- whitewater).
LOCATION: Registration & Start– Rte 622 (S. Powells Island Rd)
2 miles from Tye River Rd. Finish: about 7 miles downriver (Course subject to change due to water level)
