PINEY RIVER MINI TRIATHLON

Short Race…Long on Fun        Race solo or as a team of 2-4 people
Run 1.5 m, paddle .75 m & bike 2.5m FEE: $20 per participant
Awards for 1st, 2nd, 3rd place finishers in each class
Classes: Solo—Youth, Male, & Female   Team—All Male, All Female, Coed

NELSON DOWNRIVER RACE (Lower Tye River)
This 7 mile race is suitable for experienced canoe and kayak paddlers
(up to Class II/III- whitewater).
LOCATION: Registration & Start– Rte 622 (S. Powells Island Rd)
2 miles from Tye River Rd.  Finish: about 7 miles downriver
(Course subject to change due to water level)

POLO FOR DUMMIES
LOCATION:  VA Mountain Outfitters, Buena Vista
Prep with game rules on foot, learn to wrap, braid and tack for polo and then play our game!.  Riders should be able to ride at a walk and trot.  Ages: 18 & up    Limited to 5 players    Payment due at registration

TRAIL RIDE BY HORSEBACK
LOCATION: VA Mountain Outfitters, Buena Vista    Ages: 10 & up
Fee includes trail ride & transportation   Enjoy a guided ride through the Blue Ridge foothills
Minimum: 6 Maximum: 10  Register by June 4th by calling 263-7130
DATE: Saturday, June 12th  8:30 am – 1 pm   Meet at the Nelson Center to ride our bus to the stable.  FEE: $35
