Applicant must perform detailed clerical & technical work involving interaction with the public in the course of handling inquiries: processing & collection of taxes, utilities, & other receivables. Serves as customer service agent assisting the public both by telephone and in person. Responsibilities will include: processing of inquiries and payments: using computer software to retrieve information: assisting internal and external customers. Applicant must possess strong public service skills & delivery. Applicant must also have strong oral & written communication & problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks. Must be able to exercise discretion and good judgment when interacting with the public, set priorities & coordinated work activities. Strong computer skills preferred, High school diploma or GED equivalency required. Submit cover letter & resume to Nelson County Treasurers Office, P. O.
