Exhibits include-

Hurricane Camille and its Aftermath
The story of 1969 Hurricane Camille, featuring more than 100 color slides never-before seen in Nelson County, and a video on the rescue and recovery effort.

Cutting On The Lights
How the lives of rural people changed when electricity came to Nelson County in the 1930s, featuring early appliances and oral histories.

Sundays 1-4 pm
U.S. 29   3 miles south of Lovingston

The Oakland Museum will be closed from Dec. 12 ,2010  (after the Oakland Holiday Open House) until March 26, 2011.
