Getting Here

From I-95

Take I-64 West at Richmond and continue to Charlottesville. Take exit 118A which is Hwy 29 South. Stay on Hwy 29 for 30 miles to Lovingston. The Visitors Center is on the right side of the highway beneath the Library, just 2 tenths of a mile south of the Lovingston traffic light.

From I-81

Take I-64 East at Staunton and continue to Exit 99 which is Route 250 at Afton Mountain. Go East on Route 250 for 4 miles to Route 151. Turn right on 151 and continue for 10 miles to Route 6 East. Turn left on Route 6 and continue for 6 miles to Hwy 29. Turn right on Hwy 29 and continue for 7 miles to Lovingston.The Visitors Center is on the right side of the highway beneath the Library, just 2 tenths of a mile south of the Lovingston traffic light.

From I-81 South (Bristol)/Rt 460 Lynchburg

Take I-81 North toward Roanoke, Virginia. Take Exit 150A and merge onto US-11S (as you come off I81 get over one lane to the left after you merge and go thought the light). Go about 5 miles and turn left onto US-460. Take Hwy 29 North from Lynchburg and continue for 32 miles to Lovingston. The Visitor Center is on the left side of the highway beneath the Library.

From Rt 29 (North – DC/Northern Virginia – Maryland)

Take I-495 to Interstate 66 West to Route 29 South at Gainesville Exit 43A. Take Rt 29 South from Washington through Culpeper to Charlottesville. From Charlottesville, stay on Rt 29 for 30 miles to Lovingston. The Visitors Center is on the right side of the highway beneath the Library, just 2 tenths of a mile south of the Lovingston traffic light.
