Our small farm business is owned and operated by Shane and Beverly Spanninger. A couple of love birds that decided to turn their dreams of sustainable farming and living into their reality. They have two wonderful young children and are so happy to be raising them not only surrounded by tons of love but surrounded by fields of flowers and fresh food as well.
We grow an assortment of flowers and and vegetables in an earth friendly manner on our small 8 acre farm in Nelson County Virginia. We pride ourselves on growing without any chemical fertilizers, pesticides or herbicides. We grow biodynamicaly to protect the land and to provide the highest quality food and flowers.
We also sell at the Nelson Farmers Market on Saturdays from 8am to noon. We also sell at the Lynchburg Community Market on Saturdays from 7am to 2pm and on Wednesdays from 10am to 2pm. We do weekly doorstep flower deliveries in particular neighborhoods and provide wholesale options for fresh cut flowers for events and produce for restaurants.
